Anne and Marjorie

Anne and Marjorie are two girls Lucy knows from school back at home in England. Anne is a selfish meanie, but Marjorie is one of Lucy's friends. While Lucy is reading the magic book that belongs to Coriarkin, Lucy uses a spell to eavesdrop on Anne and Marjorie's conversation. She overhears Marjorie say something mean about her to Anne in order to save face, and it ruins their friendship forever. Aslan explains to Lucy that Marjorie didn't mean what she said, but this doesn't change the way Lucy feels.
