Newt Dobbs Timeline & Summary

Newt is thrilled to be invited on a nighttime trip to steal horses from Pedro Flores. He's even more thrilled to be asked to come along on the cattle drive to Montana.
Newt ropes cattle, gets bitten by mosquitoes, and gets covered in grasshoppers. All sorts of other horrible things happen, too.
Newt is devastated when his friend, Sean O'Brien, is killed by water moccasins.
When Jake abandons Lorena, Newt is supposed to watch her. Distracted by a stampede, Newt leaves Lorena's little camp, and she is taken. Jake blames Newt.
In one town, Gus gives Newt spare change for a prostitute.
Newt gets into a fight with a man who knocks out Dish Boggett, and Call almost beats the man to death.
Gus confirms to Newt that Call is Newt's father.
Newt wonders why Call won't tell him the truth. Sure, Call gives him his best horse, but it isn't enough.
