A Midsummer Night's Dream Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

PG-13

There's a reason why the Playboy Mansion's biggest bash of the year is called "The Midsummer Night's Dream Party." The world of Shakespeare's play is a pretty steamy place. Still, what do we expect from a piece featuring a magic potion that makes its hormone-driven characters fall in and out of love faster than you can say "love juice"?

The play is also full of bawdy humor. When Shakespeare's not making a big joke out of Titania's love for an "ass," he's busy making cracks about how syphilis (an STD) causes hair loss (1.2). Then there's the dirty joke about Pyramus and Thisbe, who try to kiss each others' lips through a "hole" in a wall and miss (Thisbe declares "I kiss the wall's hole, not your lips at all.")
