In the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey let's Harry know that it's bad luck that his bones have disappeared because growing them back is gonna be painful. Great.
That night, Harry hears the voices in the walls again and the he looks up and sees Dobby standing on his bed.
Dobby still cannot believe Harry is at Hogwarts. Dobby thought the closed barrier at Kings Cross and the bludger would be enough to keep Harry away.
Oh, so that was you, Harry tells Dobby.
Yeah, Dobby admits. He does feel bad about getting Harry into trouble and trying to hurt him. He actually ironed his hands to punish himself.
Dobby also explains that he wears rags because he can't have real clothes. In fact, the only way he can ever be freed is if his masters present him with clothes.
Basically, Harry is not really feeling Dobby right now, but Dobby tells him that his only goal is to keep Harry safe. And that means Harry needs to leave Hogwarts now that history is about to repeat itself.
Wow, that sounds ominous. But Dobby hears noises so he refuses to explain and just disappears.
Then, in comes a group of teachers carrying a student. It's Colin Creevey with his camera and he's been petrified.
Harry overhears Dumbledore telling the group that Hogwarts is no longer safe because the Chamber of Secrets has been opened again.
