Home for Good

• Karen narrates the famous lines from her book, Out of Africa, as she walks around the empty spaces of her farm before departing Africa.
• She gives Denys' compass to Farah. She asks him to speak her real name before she boards the train. He's always called her "msabu," which means, generally, white lady boss.
• We get one final narration as we glimpse Africa from Denys' grave. She's finally learned that she couldn't own Denys or anything else, really.
• Karen never returned to Africa.
