Schindler's List Scene 6

Scene 6

Scene 6

  • March, 1941. Crowds of Jews enter the walled ghetto where they've been forced to relocate.
  • Nazi officials watch over wealthy Jewish families as they pack only what they can carry; the German and Polish elite will take ownership of their homes, fully furnished and free of charge.
  • As people push carts piled with their belongings, Polish residents watch them go. Some of them shout nasty goodbyes to the people they can't wait to be rid of.
  • Schindler enjoys settling into his new apartment as its Jewish former owners settle into a filthy hovel in the ghetto, crammed in with several other displaced families.
