The green-eyed monster of jealousy has been known to overtake the best of us. And poor Woody's no different. It's natural for him to feel pretty envious when he sees Andy's new toy—a decked out spaceman.
But, what's not natural is the way Woody responds to his new found resentments. Instead of letting this go (like Frozen's Elsa might), Woody lets all that hatred for Buzz fester until he's doing something crazy like accidentally pushing Buzz out a window. Yikes. Jealousy can really be a pain…even in a movie like Toy Story.
Questions About Jealousy
Why is only Woody jealous of Buzz, while all the other toys accept and look up to him almost immediately?
Why do you think Mr. Potato Head's always needling Woody about Buzz's new popularity?
Do you think Buzz or Woody is Andy's favorite toy by the end of the movie? Or can you have two favorite toys?

The fact that Buzz doesn't care about being Andy's favorite is the thing that annoys Woody the most about him.
