Artemis, Agamemnon, and Iphigenia

Case Description: Complainant (Artemis) accuses defendant (Agamemnon) of poaching. The defendant shot a deer in Artemis' sacred grove.

Case Status: Case closed. Artemis caused there to be no wind, so that the Greek ships couldn't sail to make war on Troy. Agamemnon was forced to sacrifice his daughter Iphigenia to Artemis to get the wind blowing again. It is rumored that Artemis may have whisked Iphigenia away to Tauri and/or made the girl immortal.
