Erinyes (Furies)

Advertisement - Guide continues below

Trust us, you do not want to make the Erinyes mad. There's a reason most people call them the Furies these days: when there's a criminal creeping around who hasn't been punished, these furious, snaky-haired, bloody-eyed ladies flap their wings and rise up from the black pit of Tartarus to put the smack down. Their favorite methods of punishment include driving people insane, blighting big stretches of countryside, and blasting whole cities with plague. Back in the day, rumor had it there was a whole flock of Erinyes, but later, people started saying there were only three: Alecto, Tisiphone, and Magaera. Whatever their number, these goddesses of vengeance seriously don't mess around.

Gaia (Mom), Ouranos (Dad...well, we came from his blood anyway) OR Nyx (Mom)… depends who you ask.

If Gaia became pregnant with us from the blood of Ouranos: the Gigantes, the Meliae

If Nyx is our mom and only mom: Erebos, Aether, Hemera, Nemesis, The Fates, Charon, Thanatos, Hypnos

Nemesis (she totally gets our whole vengeance thing.)
Dike (a goddess who understands justice)
Hades (We're very pleased to work in his Dungeon of the Damned)

Orestes (we're still a little miffed that he got away with killing his mom)
Apollo (the one who told Orestes to kill his mom in the first place)
