Here's a weird pun for you: Heqat's name sounds a lot like the word for a measure of grain in ancient Egypt (like what we'd consider a bushel today): hekat or heqat. Ancient Egyptians loved puns, so they offered hekats to Heqat all the time.
Heqat appears as herself (spelled Heqet, and with weird fins for ears) in the Nintendo DS game Shin Megami Tensei.
Heqet is an adorable boss (complete with wizard's hat and staff) in Final Fantasy XI. Do we really have to kill her? She's so cute…
The heket are a race of angry frog-people in the Guild Wars MMORPG. Unlike the goddess, they don't sound like they'd be fun to run into.
Along with a bunch of the other Egyptian gods, Heqat appears (as Heket) in the Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan. The Kane children find her in an assisted-living community in the afterworld, along with many other sad and forgotten gods. So unfair!
