There is no one person who acts as the antagonist in Obasan. The antagonist is normally the person or thing that stops the protagonist from getting what they want. Well, what disturbs Naomi's happiness is the prejudice of her fellow Canadians. That's what starts the internment camps, and that's what tears the family apart.
