- Wow, your child must have really great brains and feet. Or at least, Dr. Seuss sure thinks so, seeing as how he keeps bringing it up. Who knew, right?
- Now that your child has gotten a little bit further into this journey, we're starting to see that not everything is great all the time.
- But the story is still full of hope. Your child is finding their own way, making things happen and not just having them happen to us.
- Stop. Fancy schmancy rhetorical device alert! See how Dr. Seuss keeps repeating certain words, like, "Don't worry. Don't stew." And, "Out there things can happen" and "things start to happen." You know what this is, parents.
- That's called repetition. It really just means that he's repeating himself and he's doing it to drive his point home. And because, well, it sounds nice, doesn't it?
