  • After Joey's murder, Johnny tries to convince Terry that they did the right thing. Terry's not buying it.
  • Later, he orders Terry to spy on Father Barry and the dockworkers he's leading.
  • Johnny's thugs bust the meeting up, but Terry lies and tells him that nothing was happening there.
  • Johnny orders Dugan's death, after Dugan threatens to testify, and then he threatens to kill Terry, unless Charley can talk sense into him.
  • Charley helps Terry escape Johnny, so Johnny has Charley killed instead.
  • Terry testifies against Johnny in court, and Johnny's supporters back off—his power is eroding.
  • Johnny and his gang beat Terry up, but Terry upstages them by getting up and walking into work. The other workers follow him, rejecting Johnny.
  • This destroys Johnny's power, and leaves him behind, berating the workers and telling them they'll be sorry.
