Faithful Timeline and Summary

Faithful passes the Palace Beautiful on his way to the Celestial City. This is communicated to Christian, who looks forward to meeting his former neighbor from the City of Destruction on the road.
Christian overtakes Faithful, trips, and is helped up by his friend. The two pilgrims share stories of their experiences on the road.
Christian and Faithful meet Talkative. Faithful is half-persuaded that he's honest, but Christian knows of his hypocrisy. He tells Faithful to corner Talkative in a discussion and reveal his inability to walk as well as he talks.
Christian and Faithful meet with Evangelist, who overtakes them on the road. Evangelist congratulates them on their progress, but warns of the trials to come. They are told that one will have to die at the next city and be taken to the Celestial City early.
Christian and Faithful come to Vanity Fair.
Christian and Faithful are tried and found guilty of disrupting the peace.
Faithful is testified against by Envy, Superstition, and Pickthank.
Faithful defends his conduct and peaceful intentions, but says that he hates Satan, the Lord of Vanity Fair, as he is the enemy of Christ.
Lord Hategood, the presiding judge, sentences Faithful to death.
Faithful is mocked in the streets, tortured, and burnt at the stake.
After his death, a chariot waiting nearby takes Faithful's soul to heaven.
