Nature Girl
Dickinson loved nature, and many of her poems contain a speaker marveling at the natural world. Sometimes nature teaches the speaker a lesson in her poetry, and at other times the speaker uses nature as a metaphor for something way more human. In "Route of Evanescence," the concern is mostly on nature's magic and its potential to make us feel: awe, mystery, and beauty.
