The Book of Ruth Theme of Humility

Just about everyone in our story loves eating humble pie. But, don't confuse humility with being passive or weak. Throughout most of the Book of Ruth, the characters' humble words help them achieve their goals. Most importantly, Ruth's gracious praise of Boaz's kindness helps him to fall more in love with her. Apparently, a humble woman is a good wife.
