Scene 11
- Ah, group showering. Guess you don't have to worry about making friends at Shawshank. You get up close and personal with everyone awfully fast. Especially one guy, Bogs, who says he wants to be a friend, but we suspect he actually wants to be a bit more. Andy's cold shoulder seems to imply that he's doing okay in the "friend" department, thank you very much.
Scene 12
- A month later, Andy approaches Red for the first time. He says he's heard Red is the go-to for assorted sundries, and wonders if he could procure for him a rock hammer. He doesn't launch into a rendition of "If I Had a Hammer" though, so we doubt his heart is really in it.
Scene 13
- Time for the laundry delivery…what a perfect way to smuggle in an item or two. One rock hammer, comin' up.
Scene 14
- One of the guys assigned to laundry sorting gets Red's attention and hands him a bundle of sheets containing a…special package. Wonder what it could be.
Scene 15
- Back in Red's cell. It was a rock hammer. Ooh, sorry. SPOILER ALERT: It was a rock hammer.
