Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home Theme of Friendship

Star Trek has more in common with a sitcom than you might think. Like Friends or The Big Bang Theory, the movie series is fundamentally about a group of characters whose interlocking friendships provide limitless entertainment. Nowhere is this more apparent in the franchise than in The Voyage Home. The film takes a more lighthearted approach than previous films, which allows details of the characters' relationships to shine through. There may not be a laugh track, but we're happy to provide one ourselves.
