Ethan Figman Timeline & Summary

Ethan spends his camp time working in the animation shed.
He tries to get with Jules and is rejected, so he forms a lifelong friendship/love thing with her instead.
At that terrible New Year's Party, Ethan comforts Ash while still supporting Cathy.
Ethan keeps in touch with Cathy over the years.
One summer at camp, Ethan starts dating Ash.
He basically lives at the Labyrinth working on his animation.
For college, Ethan goes off to the School of Visual Arts in the city.
When Ash cheats on him, he turns to Jules and tries to get with her… again.
Ethan and Ash reconcile, and move in together after college.
He turns down a number of internships and jobs to care for Old Mo Templeton.
After college, Ethan works on a television show called The Chortles, but he hates it so much he eventually quits.
Gil convinces Ethan to pitch Figland to networks; he does, and ends up getting a sweet deal out of it.
Figland consumes most of Ethan's life, but he makes a bunch of money and shares the benefits with his friends.
Ethan turns to philanthropy when he sees a sweatshop making his show's merchandise.
When he finds out about Goodman, Ethan splits with Ash.
Ethan gets cancer, and Jules convinces him to tell Ash and reconcile.
He dies abruptly after unsuccessful treatments.
