Enough about these humans. Let's talk Nizzards! Among other things.
See, all these quirky creatures might seem like just that—quirky creatures. At first. But the more you read, the more you discover that the Nizzards, Patrol Cats, and even those Dike Trees have more to them than fun.
In fact, these three groups represent the delicate balance needed to keep the Kingdom of Binn up and running. Without the Nizzards, the Dike Trees might grow rampant all over the kingdom. And without the Patrol Cats, the Nizzards would eat up all the Dike Trees. Neither one of those is a very good option, because Binn needs the Dike Trees to keep the sea at bay. Tricky stuff.
