Hunilla ("The Encantadas") Timeline and Summary

Hunilla and her new husband, Felipe, and her brother, Truxill, went to tiny Norfolk Island to collect tortoise oil.
They paid the captain who left them there and said he would return for them, but he didn't.
Instead, Felipe and Truxill die in a boating accident.
Hunilla is pregnant, but her baby is stillborn.
A passing ship lands, and she is raped by the sailors.
Melville's ship finds her, and takes her aboard at last.
They sell the turtle oil she collected and give her the money.
They leave her at Payta in Peru.
