Yeah, yeah: Uncle Vanya is pre-Soviet. But there's no sex here, either. What there is is some smooching and unwanted advances, all involving Yelena, and, alternatingly, Vanya and Astrov. Sonya gets a little case of the sighs around the doctor, but that's as far as it gets. This is the kind of play you could take your kid sister to see. She might get bored and have no idea what's going on, but you won't have to cover her eyes at any point.
