Character Analysis
Lords Revilian, Argoz, and Mavramorn are three of the seven missing lords of Narnia who were exiled by King Miraz. They are discovered by Caspian and the crew of the Dawn Treader asleep at Aslan's Table on Ramandu's Island. As Ramandu's daughter explains, when they arrived on the island the lords had a difference of opinion about what to do next. One of them wanted to keep sailing east, one wanted to go home to Narnia, and one wanted to stay on the island. As they argued, one of them grabbed something lying on the table: the Stone Knife – the same knife the White Witch used to kill Aslan in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Because the knife is a sacred relic that no human hand should touch, all three lords fell into a deep, enchanted sleep. In order to revive them, Caspian must sail as close as possible to the eastern edge of the world and leave at least one person behind.
