(5) Tree Line
We know—5 out of 10 seems like a huge cop-out when it comes to ratings, but hear us out, gang. The language in this poem is pretty much as straightforward as it gets. There are no obscure references or difficult sentence structures to throw you off. What does pose a challenge, however, is figuring out just what the poem is up to. Is it a legit critique? Is it sarcastic? Could it be a bit of both? Sadly, Bogan didn't leave us any answer keys with this one. Just rely on a bit of close reading, and of course us, to get you to the top.
