Ex-planet Pluto was discovered on this day in 1930. Its name was suggested by 11 year-old Venetia Burney, whose grandfather was friends with a guy in the Royal Astronomical Society of London—a.k.a. the dudes who were naming the new planet. We have a feeling that the next new planet is going to be named named Aiden, Kaden, Hayden, or Jayden. And we're kinda okay with it.
