Anyway... as we hopefully recall, FOIL is all about first, outside, inside, last...
and in this case we just multiply the stuff in parentheses... by itself.
We get quantity 2a plus 6 times 2a plus 6.
So the 2a times 2a gets us 4a squared.
Then the outsides are 2a times 6, which is 12a... we add this to the insides, which are
2a times 6 for a total of 24a.
The end is 6 times 6 which is 36...
So the answer is E.
