(B) is a disappointment as well.
Unfortunately, NASA has not yet found definitive proof of microscopic life on Mars--which is
too bad, because things are always more fun in miniature.
Choice (C) is next on the agenda.
It's not true either, though. The passage tells us that it took the Viking spacecraft
less than a year to get to Mars. Looks like (D) is being the good boy scout
and telling us the truth.
The passage does say that NASA thinks that Mars was way different back in the day.
If there are Martians, we wonder if they get nostalgic for the old days...
