committee had to say about the ATSDR.
After a very brief skim, we can easily whittle down the answer choices to the right one.
(A) points its finger at Dr. Chris De Rosa.
We can absolve the good doctor, however, because we know that he was actually the whistleblower
who reported the ATSDR's mismanagement.
Choice (C) has it all wrong as well. The passage clearly tells us that the ATSDR were scientific bunglers.
(D) is obviously wrong.
The passage tells us in a billion different ways that the ATSDR did a terrible job.

(B) is the only answer choice that says anything remotely similar to the committee.
According to the report, the ATSDR totally messed things up with the disaster, and then

Tsk, tsk, ATSDR. Sure, we've all tried to cover for something we've done wrong...
...but this is a little different than trying to hide the fact that you ate the last piece of pizza...
