So... let's.
We are really just distributing multipliers, which look like this, being careful with the negatives...
...and we get 6 over 3, which is 2.
Then we get negative 3x over 3, or just negative x when you cancel out the threes.
That gives us 2 minus x minus 16...
minus 8x...
which equals 3.
We've got -14 on the left now... and negative 9x...
...so we have negative 9x minus 14 equals 3.
And there we go. Our answer is C.
