to say that president is coming on time are running
on schedule We'd like washington solitude for not only the
rest of that event but many other also office by
american president of the us weird phrasing their president of
the us but all right so we're going to try
to figure out what the better answer is to be
here on we're thinking out loud Well there's no need
to say american and us since they both referred to
the same thing right that's kind of like saying a
clueless congressman sorry just kidding that we love you guys
these days so just so everyone knows that we're not
talking about american presidents of student government or american presidents
of the bowling club it's best to say us presidents
which on top of being clear also avoids adding a
third of to the sentence right We're dieting down jenny
Craig ing They're so great answer is just us presidents
that's How read as is the sentences redundant american presidents
Yeah it's true but us is more accurate since american
presidents could technically be presidents of any other country in
north or south america Just removing the word american leaves
the sentence with a third of which in our book
well is at least one of too many So that's
it u s presidents i solemnly swear it's us presidents
