Science 5: What Can I Do To Save Fossil Fuels?
Recommendation
Want a study guide too?
Burning fossil fuels is so 1890... and that joke is so 1990... Maybe by 2090, we'll have converted to renewable energy.

become a superhero and chastise wasteful folks then fly away into the sunset and
if you're like I can't fly then you're not trying very hard are you come on the
fate of the world depends on you okay fine maybe you can't fly but one [a boy laid on the floor hurt after falling]
important thing you can do is to be energy conscious one of the main uses of
fossil fuels is to make electricity and nowadays we definitely use a lot of it
so how do you use less well you can unplug devices you're not using turn off [a toaster plugged into a socket]
the light if you're going into another room take a slightly cooler shower and
turn down the heat seriously buy some blankets they work wonders so sitting in [kid with a guitar playing rockband in front of a TV]
a room full of plugged in devices with dozens of lights on a shower pumping out
steam and a thermostat crank to tropical temperatures is your favorite pastime
you might want to rethink your priorities a bit another way to save
fossil fuels is by following the 3 R's reduce reuse and recycle the factories [Dino pointing to the three R's on a chalkboard]
that make commercial products use a lot of fossil fuels so by doing stuff like
using fewer plastic bags at the grocery store reusing old containers and
recycling containers that can't be used anymore fewer fossil fuels will be used
plus if you're really into tossing trash into blue bins you're going to have a [a recycling trash can]
lot of fun recycling trust us what everyone has a weird hobby last but not
least we can save fossil fuels by being cautious of how we get around different [fumes coming out of a cars exhaust]
modes of transportation require way more fossil fuel than others so choose wisely
if you're going to the park maybe skip the car and use a fossil fuel free
option instead like walking or riding a bike unless you're a really big fan of [woman riding a bike down a road]
biking while dragging a burning barrel of oil behind you these options are way
more environmentally friendly even though buses use some fossil
fuels they're a good fossil fuel saving option for longer trips and as much as [bus picking people up at a bus stop]
possible try to avoid riding on plane which can use tens of thousands of
gallons of fuel for a single trip that said it's okay to make some exceptions
it'd be pretty tough to bike to France no matter how good you are at cycling [man cycling off a pier into the water]
