Will Grayson, Will Grayson Introduction

Stop us if you've heard this one before. Two Will Graysons walk into a porn shop…

Okay, we're guessing you haven't heard this one, but trust us when we say you really want to. Will Grayson, Will Grayson is the story of two seventeen-year-old boys who live in the suburbs of Chicago and also happen to have the same name. No biggie, right? But then they both wind up walking into the same porn shop on one cold Chicago night. Weird. And how they get there is a pretty crazy story, too. But you'll have to read that part on your own.

When Will Grayson, Will Grayson debuted in 2010, it was honored with all kinds of impressive prizes—like the Stonewall Book Award and the Odyssey Award. Not too shabby. The book also spent three weeks on the New York Times children's bestsellers list. That's impressive in its own right, but it's even a bigger deal since this novel was the first book starring gay characters to ever appear on the list.

But not only does this book feature a whole bunch of awesome and totally relatable gay characters, it also deals with a whole slew of issues that don't always see the light of day in popular young adult novels—like mental illness, relationship anxiety, online dating, repressing your feelings, and the joys of Neutral Milk Hotel. Plus it was co-written by two titans of YA lit, John Green and David Levithan. Go team.

If you're thinking this book might veer into cheesy territory, worry not. Neither Will Grayson hits you over the head with a very special message about a very important issue that's affecting today's teens. Throughout the book, both our same-named narrators struggle with all kinds of feelings without ever making the book feel like a bad after-school special. Actually, you'll probably feel like you're just hanging out with some good friends. And isn't that the best kind of book?

So what do you say? Don't you want to explore the wonderful world of Will Graysons with us? We had you at "porn shop," didn't we?

What is Will Grayson, Will Grayson About and Why Should I Care?

Do you love a bargain? A deal? A super sale of any sort? Then friend, have we got the book for you. It's Will Grayson, Will Grayson—the ultimate buy-one-get-one-free reading experience.

This amazing novel comes with not one, but two Will Graysons. Yes, you heard that right. That's two—two—narrators for the price of one. Incredible, right? But, wait—there's more. Marvel as you read a story told by two of the most popular young adult authors in recent history, John Green and David Levithan. They slice. They dice. They julienne fries. (Okay, not really. In fact, they don't do any of that stuff. But still, they're pretty great.)

You may know David Levithan from his bestselling books Boy Meets Boy and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. And John Green? Well, Time Magazine named him one of their hundred most influential people of 2014. That's a hard list to crack. And that little summer blockbuster, The Fault in Our Stars? Yeah, that was his baby, too.

Levithan and Green decided to collaborate on this story way back in 2006. David had just read John's first book, Looking for Alaska, and he asked John if maybe, just maybe he wanted to work together to write a book about two boys with the same name. The result is a book that comes from two different points of view and feature two really unique and really authentic voices. See? We told this this book was the ultimate BOGO.

Two incredible narrators. Two amazing bestselling authors. What's not to love? Plus, if you act now we'll throw in a set of steak knives.*

*Okay, not really. But even if that means you have to figure out how to eat steak with your hands, you should still read this book.
