Andy Rahden

Chief Executive Officer

Nothing gets Shmoop's esteemed head honcho Andy Rahden pumped up quite like digital learning and educational technology. Before hopping aboard the Shmoop train, Andy was the Vice President of the Pluralsight Creative, Design, and Engineering business unit. Armed with his passion for democratizing education, Andy built teams at Pluralsight from the ground up to forge strategic partnerships and create a world-class customer experience.

Since his early days as a Mechanical Engineer at Baker Hughes, Andy has always enjoyed building things, from mechanical stress tests to Marvel-worthy teams of super-employees. Prior to Pluralsight, Andy made his way as an all-rounder at Autodesk, where he directed sales teams through all elements of improving customer experience. He has also worked for the largest SolidWorks reseller, where he provided in-person training, worked with customers on implementation, and provided guidance to companies transforming their design process.

 

 

 

Mike Soldan

Chief Experience Officer

Mike Soldan knows how to take a customer experience from zero to hero, and he gets jazzed about improving the experience of education and training. He carries an alphabet soup of certifications & formal education including: CISSP, PMP, CAPM, SSGB, and degrees in Information Systems. 

Before he took up the reins as Shmoop's CXO, Mike was the VP of Pluralsight's Professional Services and Solutions Architect teams. In this position, he helped the largest companies in the world create effective upskilling cultures and to future-proof their workforce through digital training programs. Prior to Pluralsight Mike was a founding member and product leader for one of Verizon Communications largest Product & New Business Innovation arms, focused on IoT programs and products.

 

 

 

Heather Foidart

VP of Sales

Heather Foidart knows something that's better than sliced bread, and that's customer intelligence. (How else would you know how to slice it?) At the helm of the sales team, Heather's mission is to launch Shmoop's solution in a classroom near you. And this effort is fueled by more than just caffeine and customer-obsessed sales reps: she's made it her lifelong quest to inspire as many young minds as possible.

Heather has dedicated her career to excellence in sales and service with over 15 years’ experience as a leader in high-tech organizations. Before joining Shmoop, she was a senior consultant for Oracle’s Fortune 100 customers, leading the Customer Experience organization. Prior to Oracle, she was an integral leader at a FinTech startup, Solium, in the role of VP of Sales and Head of Customer Service. This FinTech startup grew up to be a Unicorn and galloped right into an acquisition deal with Morgan Stanley.

Globetrotting explorations are more than just a hobby for Heather; with her MBA from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada and a focus on International Business, she's got the credentials to make a difference wherever she lands.

 

 

 

Jennifer Osgood

VP of Marketing

Jennifer is the mastermind behind Shmoop's marketing initiatives, and she uses her gift of gab to amass a fan following for Shmoop's perfect ten performance. When she's not spreading the word about Shmoop, this performance-driven marketing strategist knows how to cede the floor and let the metrics do the talking. A strong advocate for data-driven decision-making, Jennifer brings a decade of brand strategy and marketing experience to her position as VP of Marketing. Prior to Shmoop, Jennifer directed global marketing initiatives for the on-demand division of the largest private sector transit operator in North America. Before bursting onto the world stage, she developed the go-to-market strategy for the first pain specialty hospital in the US. Additionally, she managed a boutique marketing agency which helped healthcare organizations educate patients and improve care via traditional and digital marketing initiatives.
