Tell people you're a biosystems engineer, and all you're going to get is a bunch of confused looks with a side of, "Sorry, come again?" So maybe don't tell people you studied biosystems engineering in college. Tell them you studied, "solving the world's most pressing problems involving water and food supply." See? Much more impressive.

And it's even a little bit true. Sure, you might not solve the world's problems, but you'll do a little bit of good every time you take on a new project. Then, when you die at a vigorous 100-years-old, all the small forest critters and drought-endangered animals will flock to your bedside, nuzzling you in your final moments.
