20-Year Prospect

20-Year Prospect

You're the defender of truth, justice, and the American way. Oh, wait, that's Superman.

While you may not be the Man of Steel, you've got the defender-of-truth-and-justice thing down pat. Good thing, too, because the U.S. courts system will need your skills for years to come.

Think of all the prosecutors who've made their mark before you. There was Buck Compton, who served in the famous Easy Company during World War Two before going on to lead the charge against Sirhan Sirhan, who assassinated Senator Robert Kennedy in 1968.

There was U.S. Attorney Matthew Parrella, who failed to get anything more than a probationary sentence for steroid user Barry Bonds after the federal government burned six million dollars on the legendary baseball player's trial.

Okay, so maybe not all criminal justice lawyers are cut from the same cloth as that Law & Order silver fox Frank McCoy. Still, what with all the meanies who'll be a-stealin' and a-killin' in the future, you'll have plenty of work in the pipeline and plenty of opportunities to prove you can competently prosecute your man…or woman.
