Power

Your um...skilled...hands. (Source)

A glazier's power is less earth-shattering and much more subtle. Let's suppose you're a professional glazier and you've signed a contract to retro-fit glass to a beach front condominium complex after a hurricane came through. The people who own, but cannot live in those condos or rent them to vacationers until the work is done, are desperate. Their lives and livelihoods are in your hands.

Skilled glaziers may have power in their communities, especially if they're the only game in town. Most glazier businesses are in larger cities and serve surrounding, smaller communities especially for home construction needs. When that's the case, the building season is going to be a juggling act and will certainly mean long hours. But, on the plus side, you'll be the go-to glazier in your corner of the country.
