Twenty years from now there will still be life coaches. In fact, life coaches could be more popular and important than ever.
As of now, most life coaches have certificates of some kind, but recently there have been actual university degrees offered in life coaching (source).
The fact is, that no matter how technology progresses, people are still going to feel a little lost once in a while. Good life coaches will always be necessary. Until we have artificially intelligent sorting hats that can read your mind and tell you exactly what you want…but that's at least twenty-five years away. You'll still be good in twenty.
