You can't massage the whole world's population at once, so most people will never know of your greatness. You'll have to be content with merely being very popular among those who partake of your services.
About the only way you could become famous as a massage therapist would be to write a book about your craft, or about a totally new and wildly popular type of massage that you've invented. The wildly popular part is the most important, because you aren't likely to sell many copies if people aren't that into your methods. Make sure your signature massage doesn't involve whipping clients with wet, rolled-up dishrags.
