Fame

You could possibly be the most famous ophthalmologist in the history of ophthalmologists. The National Eye Institute might name a new ocular disease after you.

The American Academy of Ophthalmology could be toasting you at the annual ball.

But...you probably won't end up on the cover of Time for preventing the spread of the most infectious pink eye outbreak in history and be dubbed "The Eye Doc Who Saved Summer."

Even so, your fame will be in the eyes of your grateful patients.

That's kind of a weird dream to have anyway.
