Your name might not be well known, but your creations are famous.
Think of the millions of people who have ridden Colossus, or Coney Island's Cyclone.
In any amusement park, the coasters are the main attraction.
You can get famous within your industry for building the biggest or fastest or most fun coaster.
You could also be part of a company that becomes famous, like the now defunct Arrow Dynamics of Mountain View, California. Arrow Dynamics built hundreds of coasters that became fan favorites all over the world—including many of the original Disneyland rides from the 1960s.
Or you could become the next Ron Toomer, roller coaster innovator and former NASA engineer. Toomer designed the heat shields for Apollo 11 before deciding he'd rather build the first inverting roller coaster.
