Power

Typically speaking, taking something three dimensional and real, and then making it two dimensional and fake, isn't a very powerful magic trick. Sure, your charcoal rendition or Fido sort of, kind of looks like the real Fido, but we tried getting him to lick our face and only ended up with a lot of nasty paper cuts.

If you're hungering to make an impact, your skills could probably be used by your local PD. While positions can be scarce, helping the cops identify a suspect by turning a witness' ramblings into clean and clear lines could be the key turning point for an investigation.

Help get that criminal off the streets, and not only have you brought some peace to their victims, but you may have even helped keep that crime from happening to someone else. Captain Mark totally deserves a spot with the Avengers.

If you choose to avoid the forensic arts and stick to nothing but caricatures and portraits, that's fine. Just know your impact will be limited to the smiles you get when you turn the canvas toward your subject...and the frowns you get when you hit 'em with the price tag.

If that's not enough for you, you could try to use some of your art skills to produce higher-impact pieces for galleries. Just remember that the art world is massive, and getting your message through the static can be a difficult enterprise.
