About Me

Intro

I. Am. Green & Gold.

Now that we have that established, what's up? Thanks for taking the time to check me out. I'm CSU—home of the Rams. I'm an NCAA Division I school and trust me, we will be going to games: football, basketball, lacrosse, you name it.

If you're into science and agriculture or business and marketing, I'm the place for you. If you're not, don't freak; I have a bunch of other areas of study, as well. My campus is hyped for being super pretty, and the classes, while often pretty large, are usually grouped fairly close together so you can always arrive on time.

Unless, of course, you stop to smell the roses. Again, I'm pretty attractive.

One of the best things about coming here is my location. I chill in Fort Collins, which tops "Best Places to Live" lists every year and is better known to the locals as Fort Fun. After classes, my students are known to hit Horsetooth Reservoir, tube the Poudre ("poo-dur") River, go hiking, and party like there's no tomorrow in Old Town.

Body Type

I like to consider myself well-rounded. I have an enticing mixture of very small focus classes (about ten students) and big lecture halls (Clark A 101 can hold around 400 bodies—more than some high schools).

Right now, I'm home to about 26,000 students who attend classes on campus. The center of campus can get a little hectic around the peak times of the day, but what better time to chat up new people and maybe snag a date for the weekend?

Relationship Status

I can't really say it's complicated with the University of Colorado. In fact, it's pretty cut and dry. We can't stand one another. Our rivalry is so notable that every year, the CSU vs. CU football game is actually held at the Broncos' professional football stadium in Denver. Historically, there has been rioting during the games and afterward—and not just for losing. Yeah, football is a really big deal.

Politics

Colorado is pretty chill when it comes to politics—sometimes we swing red, sometimes blue. Being in a swing-state is okay by me.

You should apply to me if...

you like to play as hard (or harder) than you work. School's cool and all but c'mon. With all the activities, restaurants, and bars to partake in, going to college is really more about the recreation, amirite?
