This standard is focused on choosing and producing equivalent expressions in order to do something kind of amazing: reveal things about those expressions. It's kind of like turning a piece of paper into a cootie catcher; it's still the same sheet of paper, but it can tell us a lot more. About our futures, apparently.

While quadratic and exponential expressions don't have quite the same divination abilities, they can reveal a lot more about their graphs or contexts when they're written in equivalent forms. And that's what this standard's all about.
