Eventually, you’re going to start to run out of gas and will need to end your joyride, exit the freeway, and pull into the overpriced station less than a block away. Once you are an exit or two away from the one you will be taking, slowly and carefully make your way over to the right lane. Don’t get in the habit of waiting until the last second, as this will look terrible on your résumé. Signal that you are preparing to exit at least five seconds ahead of time, and reduce your speed so that you may take the exit safely while not becoming a significant impediment to the traffic behind you.
