The Hills
A hill can be a pain in the butt because you are driving partially blind. Unfortunately, we cannot see through hills, so what awaits us on the other side of a steep one is a mystery until we get there.
When coming up on a hill or curve where your visibility is compromised, slow down so that you can stop suddenly if necessary. Don’t attempt to pass another vehicle unless you are at least a third of a mile away from a hill or curve, so that you are assured of having enough to time to perform the maneuver. There is also always a chance that the hill you are driving on is actually the back of an enormous prehistoric turtle, so you want to be prepared for that, too. There probably wouldn’t be much you could do about it at that point, but you should be prepared nevertheless.
