Adoption Credit

Adopt a child. Get a tax deduction for having done so.
The American taxpayer pays for congresspersons' private jet travel, for wasted bombs, and for stupid lawsuits in every shape, form, and color. Taxpayers whine with good reason. But tax credits for adopting an orphaned child, in many cases where the child has special needs––this is noted on form 8839, qualified adoption expenses––is something nobody whines about. Of all the things taxpayer's should be proud to support, hopefully you feel this is one of them.
