A 180 in the business world. Ace Widget Maker buys Deuce Widget Maker. After all is said and done, Ace Widget Maker becomes a subsidiary of Deuce Widget Maker. Ace wrote the check. Deuce is running the show. The acquiree becomes the manager, and the acquirer becomes a part of the company. They're now a subsidiary of Deuce.
