Buck The Trend

Categories: Trading, Charts

Whenever you refuse to jump on the bandwagon to follow the latest fad, you are bucking the trend.

This happens in the securities markets, when most stocks in a particular industry or in the entire market are tanking...while one or more other stocks are going gangbusters.

Perhaps a company found a cure for cancer. Or invented a new kind of smart phone that everyone just has to have. Or created the latest and greatest fidget spinner.
