Chief Executive Officer - CEO

Top dog. Big cheese. The guy with his name on the plaque. He's where the buck stops.
With the title of CEO comes the responsibility to accompany and justify a big paycheck.
Think of a pyramid of people. This guy is at the top. The CEO’s role is to oversee the full operations of a company. As the face of the franchise, every officer reports directly to him, as he oversees the efforts ranging from finance to marketing, from sales to legal compliance. At the end of the day, it’s his signature you’ll find on the Annual Report, meaning that he is the person who makes the ultimate decisions for the direction and strategy of the organization.
Some CEOs are good, like Jack Welch and Bill Gates…and some are bad, like Dick Fuld and John Sculley. Others, like Elon Musk, break their days into five-minute increments and smoke up on podcasts with Joe Rogan, while Craig Cooper of Boost Mobile eats five cans of sardines a day.
The CEO is usually quite a unique and bright individual. Unless he worked for Enron.
