Chartered Insurance Professional - CIP

You’re chartering a distinction that leads to a bigger paycheck and proof that you’ve put in all the working hours to become master of your domain. In this case, the Chartered Insurance Professional is a designation granted by the Insurance Institute of Canada. Its program is designed for professionals who work in property and casualty insurance, and has a reputation for instilling trust between insurance experts and their clients.

Passing this program isn't as daunting as many other insurance certifications. The IIC requires that individuals pass ten courses, have a year of relevant industry experience, take a blood oath (blood optional) to the institution's Code of Ethics, and have a membership to a Canadian insurance institute.
